Four New Galaxy S III Colors

Amber Brown*: Inspired by the mysterious and unique gem, which was believed to sustain the secrets of the earth inside it. The deep, rich colour of Amber Brown redefines the classic colour and emphasizes the beauty of the advanced organic design of the GALAXY S III.

Garnet Red*: Rare and special, the gemstone Almandite Garnet was worn as an amulet by the ancient Egyptians who believed the stone contained protective powers. Garnet Red holds the delicateness and elegance of Almandite Garnet, in line with the GALAXY S III's soft curves and smooth lines.

Sapphire Black*: A colour that adds the mysterious power of dark stones to the refined, deep sophistication of the colour black, Sapphire Black is inspired by the stones used by the ancient people of India and Persia for protection, with the belief they strengthened one's willpower.

Titanium Grey*: Inspired by the colour grey as a symbol for intelligence, insight and curiosity, all of which are embodied within the design of the GALAXY S III. Titanium Grey expresses the feeling of modernity and wisdom bringing a futuristic element to the handset.
* Availability of colours will vary depending on the country and carrier/retailer.
(Local market to remove colour options as applicable)

I recently was out of my city for a couple of days. As soon as I left my state and entered another state, the lock screen of my Galaxy S3 started showing me 2 digital watches, 2 different times according to the time zones.

Lock Screen Camera Shortcut on Samsung Galaxy SIII

Here's a superb Quick Camera Access shortcut on your Samsung Galaxy S3.
Watch the video below and follow the options to set it up.

If you dont see the video above : Go to this direct Youtube link

Found this to be one of the best features for the folks who are crazy about clicks. One tap and you get your camera working instead of first unlocking the phone and then going to the camera icon and then clicking it to open the camera..

Go to settings on your Samsung Galaxy S3 and scroll to Security. You see the Lock Screen Options there, go into it and turn on the CAMERA QUICK ACCESS key. You're go to go :D

Many more tips and tricks to come.

Keep track of this page :)

Hands On - Samsung Galaxy SIII

Got my hands on the most awaited Super Smart Phone of the year a couple of days ago. The all new Samsung Galaxy SIII, The Human Phone.

The feel of the mobile is simply awesome. Super comfortable to hold, Ultra Light weight, Sexy Color Combination, Makes you want it as soon as you see it or hold it in your hands.

The Pebble White colour, the one which Samsung has released for public yet looks ravishing and is a beauty to be with.

The interface is marvellous and super quick. Response time is as good as Samsung has promised to all its customers. Camera with multiple inbuilt features is Fantastic. Doesn't take even a milli moment to capture a pic, burst camera is a special feature - Never miss a moment to capture anything special.

The body is made up of steel with a plastic black cover which lightens its weight. The power button on its side is comfortable to handle unlike the button on HTC One X on the top where it really makes you uncomfortable to use it wisely. The Volume keys on the left side of the phone make it simple to up/down the volume with a single hand. They r almost centered for easy use just like the Galaxy Nexus.

Samsung Galaxy SIII is zippy and sways faster than anything else, I mean any other phone on the planet at the moment :)

Cheers to everyone who has got their beautiful lady with them.

Let us know what you feel about it in the comments section.

Flipboard for Android - Download

At the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III, one unexpected inclusion was the Flipboard app — supposedly exclusive to the handset for the first few months. However, despite the fact that the Galaxy S III hasn't even been released yet, the Flipboard APK has been posted to the xda-developers forums, allowing any handset to grab the social newsreader. We grabbed the app and loaded it onto an HTC One X, where it runs totally smoothly, and it's worth noting that xda's forum members say it runs just as well on older handsets like the original Galaxy S.

Setting up the app is as simple as picking the topics you're interested in, with Flipboard suggesting common categories, then swiping through the headlines (with large, eye-catching images) until you find something you want to read. From there, tapping through to the story lets you swipe through the pages in the same way. One promised component of the app that hasn't made it to the leaked APK is the widget view, suggesting that this might be an early build, but it's stable enough for everyday use. (Update: some users are reporting that the widget works, we're still unable to see it.) If you decide to give it a try, you'll need to toggle the "Allow installation of non-Market apps" under your Android phone's security settings.

Download the apk file here and install it

Samsung Galaxy SIII - Rs.35,999/-

The company will hold a launch event sometime in the 1st week of June and immediately have the device available in the market. The pricing information also seems to be hinting that the device will be launched at Rs. 35999/- as the MRP on the boxed unit of the Galaxy SIII.
The Samsung Galaxy SIII, an upgrade to the superbly popular Samsung Galaxy SII, was launched last week at an even held in London.
The company has taken a different approach to the design of its handset and instead of the boxy design have now gone with a more fluid and organic design with rounded edges. The S3 comes with a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED Display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 px making it 306 pixels per inch. An 8MP camera with HD video and a 1.9MP front camera for HD Video calling.
As far as the chipset is concerned, the Exynos 4212 Quad core with 1.4GHz clock speed goes under the hood along side a Mali-400MP GPU. Three storage options 16/32/64 GB storage and 1 GB RAM give the buyer possibly the best set.
The Galaxy SIII will only be available in the 16GB version in India.
