Temple Run on Android - As Good As on an iPhone/iPad

I just downloaded Temple Run on my Samsung galaxy Note and it runs as smooth and great as it does on an iPhone or an iPad.

I frankly did not expect it to have such a fast and smooth interface. But one of the most happening games Temple Run works beautifully. Im sure it'll make you addictive to playing it again and again.

To keep you addicted & occupied, the game has some really cool objectives which you have to accomplish and all these are possible when you take the coins. Grab as many as you can and keep going.

You can buy powers which are available for time while you play the game. One of them make you invisible, there is a magnet which attracts all the coins even when you cant take them, increase your running speed for some meters and a couple of em'.

Maybe in between or after your done with buying all the powers, get some useful utilities.. Well, I haven't bought them yet so I dunno how exactly they work, but make sure you give them a try..

Bored with your current YOURSELF who keeps running?? Upgrade your character.. Keep collecting coins and upgrading your character with special features. ;)

Sync Contacts with GMail On Your Android Mobile

Never loose any of your contacts even if you loose your mobile or change your mobile. This is the easiest and best way to keep your contacts safe. Sync them with your Gmail account and they will be in your Android mobile within a few seconds when you start Syncing.

Well there are different cases to save your contacts in Gmail. It might be from your Old Nokia or any other phone, from one Android device to another, Or syncing the contacts from your Android device which are not synced with your Google account.

Sync Contacts from your old Nokia mobile:
- Go to contacts in your nokia mobile (if you are running Symbian 6 and above).
- Back them up in your memory card.
- Remove the memory card and insert it in your Android Device.
- Go to contacts in your Android mobile and press the option key.
- Select Import/Export and Import contacts from the Memory Card.
- There is a Merge option in the contacts. Press that and it will ask you which Gmail account would you like to merge the contacts with (If you have multiple accounts). Select the one you want your contacts to be synced with and the job is done.
If you do not have the merge option (not available in some Android versions) then do this:
- Export the contacts in a csv (comma separated value) format to the memory card and transfer the file to your computer.
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Go to contacts and import the contacts from the csv file you just copied. All your contacts will be in your Gmail then.
- Delete all contacts from your mobile (just to avoid double entries).
- In your Android device, go to settings, accounts & sync, gmail id. Select Sync contacts.. All contacts will be sync'd and available on your finger tips in your mobile ;)

If you are running a Symbian 4 Nokia mobile or something in which the contacts cannot be backed up in the memory card follow this:
- Connect your mobile to Nokia PC Suite on your computer.
- Sync the contacts to Microsoft Outlook.
- Export the contacts from Outlook in a csv (comma separated value) format.
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Go to contacts and import the contacts from the csv file you just created form the outlook.
All your contacts will be in your Gmail then.
- In your Android device, go to settings, accounts & sync, gmail id. Select Sync contacts.. All contacts will be sync'd and available on your finger tips in your mobile ;)

From one Android device to another/Just Sync with the same device:
- There is a Merge option in the contacts. Press that and it will ask you which Gmail account would you like to merge the contacts with (If you have multiple accounts). Select the one you want your contacts to be synced with.
- On your New Android, go to settings, accounts & sync, gmail id. Select Sync contacts.

Select Sync contacts.

If you have any doubts or questions, you can always comment and Ill try to answer them in the best and easiest way possible.

I personally use an Android mobile and a Blackberry. In both my mobiles, the contacts are synced with the same gmail account which makes my task super easy. I don't have to bother about adding contacts separately in both the mobiles. They are sync'd automatically :D

Review: Pixlr-O-Matic

Like modifying and playing around with your pics? Get them in different shades and styles.. Use a lot of color combinations and flaunt yourself? Try this app.. Its the best Photography app I have come across in Android. I havent used the best pic modification app for iphone as people say, Instagram I mean but I say whats the need of Instagram on Android when we have Pixlr-O-Matic.

Pixlr-O-Matic is a free photo sharing application that allows users to take a photo, apply some digital filter, then share it on a variety of social networking services.

When you start the app, this is the first page that you see. Either select camera and snap a pic or click photo and select a pic from your memory.

After selecting the pic, You have 3 options at the bottom of the pic.. The first one is to colorize your pic, I mean shade it in hell lotta different shared.. keep scrolling the bar and you'll se so many types. See what suits you the best.

The second I say is the background/covering/change the look of the pic type of designs which totally make your pic look different..

The third option is Frames. there are so many sexy frames, I haven't seen any app which has so many options and everyone of them out-beating the other one. They look funky, different, sexy, beautiful, sober and whatever you wanna name them ;)

The BEST option is on the top of the app.. It gives me a Muhahahhaha type of a feeling whenever I use it. You don't have to run your brains to make yourself or any of your pic to look hawt..

Just load a pic and press thekey and see the magic.. Keep pressing it and saving the best auto-combo's that you like :D

Now save your beautifully made pic on the mobile now or you can directly share it from your Android device..

Make yourself better than the best ;)

Cheers!!

The All New: GOOGLE PLAY

Introducing
An Evolution of Android Market

Go to http://play.google.com on our Android Phone to get a feel of it

In Simple Words, All your hubs which include Books, Music, Videos, Apps etc etc under one roof..
I Say - - - >> Play Long & Go On n On n On

Google Play will become the single destination for all of the company's buyable content. Accordingly, the standard Android books, music, and video apps will become Google Play Books, Google Play Music, and Google Play Movies. But it's not just about devices. Google Play is meant to bring together the company's content offerings in both mobile and browser experiences.
Android devices running version 2.2 or later will have their Market app automatically updated "over the coming days," while the Google Play Store moniker will make its way into the Google sandbar, much like the Google+ service. The Android Market name will be retired, though you won't miss it much since the Google Play Store looks nearly identical.

With Google Play you can:
  • Store up to 20,000 songs for free and buy millions of new tracks
  • Download more than 450,000 Android apps and games
  • Browse the world’s largest selection of eBooks
  • Rent thousands of your favorite movies, including new releases and HD titles

Google is also using this opportunity to show off its competitive pricing in movies, music, and books, with deals happening throughout the week in celebration of the launch. A full gamut of content will be available here in the US, while services will be limited in other countries due to licensing deals (or lack thereof). Irrespective of country, the Android Market will be replaced with Google Play as the official Android app destination.

Samsung Galaxy S II ICS Update - March 15 in Isreal

Rumors of a March launch for the Samsung Galaxy SII's Android 4.0 upgrade have been circulating for a while, but now it seems we may have the first official word on when the update will land. Samsung Mobile Israel has today made a statement on its official Facebook page, saying it expects ICS for the Galaxy S II to roll out on unlocked and carrier-branded handsets in Israel from Mar. 15.
Roughly translated, the post reads --
We promised we were working on it. You waited patiently. And on 15 March it'll arrive: Android version 4, ICS, to tens of thousands of GALAXY S II devices purchased from cellular companies in the country or directly from us. We are very excited for the launch, hope you are too :)
While this is great news for Galaxy S II owners in Israel (as well as those with the unlocked international version upon which it's based), other territories may have a little longer to wait. We'd expect this to be particularly true for the U.S., where hardware differs from carrier to carrier.
Once released, the official firmware will obviously be tweaked and used world wide. Lets hope for the best. There are a lot of other devices which have been waiting to get the polished Android 4.0 for a Stable release with handsome looks..
